The manuscript Blue Lines is the fictional coming of age narrative of a young California woman Key Yemaya Walker, and her 2 year growing journey through school, love, and life period piece, written by Kenneth Suffern, Jr., taking place at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill between the years of 1997 – 1998. What I Learned Sundays – If asked…I might say YES

As I make the move for my temporary hiatus from social media, facebook, twitter, Foursquare, BlueLinesBlog, bad habits and eating and a total detox (thanks for the confirmation)…my phone and e-mail still work. I have to post what I learned.

I’ll start with important quotes this week:

“Something is obvious with all the ‘YOU’s and ‘You’ing.”
I agree Cuzzo…time for Cuzzo summit part duex. Yes, I know what I’m saying now too…needed.

“Thank you,”
That was the best thing that I could here, if it’s not being done, that’s a problem. It’s earned, and after our conversation, I hope that the smile and surprise were equal.

I need to stop stunting my growth.

I almost forgot, when I’m not sure, I ALWAYS see something that pops up, and makes me want to be positive for YOU, this time it was your mom…hard to explain.

Saw Chrisette Michele, Pharcyde, Joi Gilliam, Foreign Exchange, to name a few.

You came up…stop stalking the blog.

I need to refrain from advice for a moment.

I hide in public, and most don’t know me, yet things that don’t need to be out there are.

I can, but I’m still living I’m not waiting…that part is not my choice, whether I’m still here, that’s on me.

Adults and children, girls need to grow up, like boys do, and if playing with them, there’s a problem witin…pull ‘em up.

There is something missing in both of us, we can be the BEST, but we can be the worst also…and it is so evident and obvious what we are.

So happy I could refrain my asshole self for once…I haven’t in such a while.

Put someone else on to Joi Gilliam.

Loved to create a new story about Keypsiia Walker, I liked “The Wedding,” as a story.

I already know, but knowing means nothing with two people in different places.

I’m sorry I was an ass to you, I hate you could see it.

Ha, someone pulled a me!!! Classic!!!

Part 3 you can read Part 1 here and Part 2 here.

Today’s piece continues the story’s 3rd part in a freely written piece of fiction.

The word used provided by CA friend Julia Nichole M. visit her blog here. Enjoy.

“Redemption”
“…you don’t, you don’t, you don’t see me
At all…”

The music played in the background, as she returned from upstate New York. She needed a break after the last few months feeling as if she had prove herself everyday to make him believe her. Although peaceful, she slowly began t realize that she knew so little of him. They spent time together, granted years off and on together, but he seldom spoke of himself or work.
Their previous relationship consisted of fights, her exasperation, and him questioning her. But the one constant was his interest in her, what she did, how her days went. Upon his return, and her happening across him at The Smith, he had been at peace. She still did not know why he had not called, or where he went. She glanced upon her finger, remembering the one night she had worn the ring. The dreary northern day did not agree with her disposition as she traversed back toward the city and her apartment. His ring tone came up and she answered.
“Hey,” half-heartedly, “how are you?”
“Fine,” he answered in a tone she found cold, “where are you?”
“Just took a drive, I’m on my way back now. I miss you,” she offered in a tone that she felt he did not believe. It was disconcerting to her to feel this way. His devotion to her was always evident. She knew she could do no wrong by him, in the past. Now he seemed so distant, like a stranger, yet so peaceful, and easy with her…non-committal.
