What I Learned:
-Life is short, live it up.

-Anger comes and goes, if it remains, it’s quite possible that person/people, thing, or whatever doesn’t belong in your life.

-Be cognizant of the words you use, people use words in different ways, and the words you may use with the intent to hurt for a moment may be the words that change and cause irreparable damage to the dynamic of the relationship you had with that person.

-Family and friends can put you in some situations that may be life changing and eye opening, take heed, and figuratively and literally…JUMP!!!

-I miss writing, the workload has prevented my having time, however still have that muse currently, so when I get time, I can return to writing.

-Started groundwork for a HUGE change, something I’ve always wanted to do. (Currently a SECRET).

The manuscript Blue Lines is the fictional coming of age narrative of a young California woman Key Yemaya Walker, and her 2 year growing journey through school, love, and life period piece, written by Kenneth Suffern, Jr., taking place at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill between the years of 1997 – 1998. Loosely based on true events, and experiences during that time, told through the eyes and voice of the main female protagonist, a freshman first attending the school.
