Loosely based on a recent recurring “dream”

“Future”
KS 11/28/12
A day we sit together,
Reminisce the past,
While vowing not to repeat, a las,
Yesterday is gone,
Today is spent,
Tomorrow, is the reality,
Learning only predicates the future,
You died long ago,
Your shell remains,
Forgetful of who you were,
And on and on,
Repeated,
Familiar,
The same,
Dave for the youth,
Innocent,
Open,
Free,
Yesterday is gone,
Today is spent,
Tomorrow, is the reality,
The future,
Life…

Loosely based on true events, and experiences during that time, told through the eyes and voice of the main female protagonist, a freshman first attending the school.
