Nothing to say,
Words hard to come by,
Little about me,
Not inspired by you,
Simply a nondescript day,
No sun to brighten the sky,
Lack of rain to drench,

Thinking you took it away,
It’s just time,
to think,
to reflect,
to heal,
to grow,
No muse, yes I’m uninspired now,
To manifest the phoenix within.

Loosely based on true events, and experiences during that time, told through the eyes and voice of the main female protagonist, a freshman first attending the school.
