Is my eye on the past,
Or is it the future,
A promise of tomorrow,
Rooted in today and yesterday,

Is my eye on evolution,
Or is it the same,
A promise of combined lives,
Changing what was before,

Is my eye on reality,
Or an idea,
A promise of what is wanted,
Looking forward.
