What is love,
What is growth,
What is knowing,
When you smiled at me,
You melted my heart,
When you cried,
You broke my heart,
When you laugh,
My heart knows joy,
You don’t have my eyes,
You don’t have my nose,
I did not make you,
I love you just the same,

I never thought you’d steal my heart,
I never thought that I,
Could love the way I do,
I did not think I was capable,
To care the way, I do,
To want the best for you,
And to protect you…
