Yeah, original crooks, original heads. We doin’ it like this

Word up!

I woke up in the morning, hopped on a train I saw my man
He had an L in his hand, hide it from the beast
At least I catch a bus before I hit my block
I take a mega hit frontin’ on the good chip lollipop
Move the hop so I can put the hip in the grip
Everybody slip so I can take a trip to the dip
Dig a deeper hole microphone control with soul
Look at my hot eye’s tell me how could you be cold
I’m coming to you from the underground, with a thunder sound
#1 question, “Yo how can I be down?”

[Verse One: Q-Tip, Phife Dawg]

Honey, check it out, you got me mesmerized
With your black hair and fat-a-s thighs
Street poetry is my everyday
But yo, I gotta stop when you trot my way
If I was working at the club you would not pay
Ayo, my man Phife Diggy, he got something to say

I like em brown, yellow, Puerto Rican or Haitian
Name is Phife Dawg from the Zulu Nation
Told you in the jam that We Can Get Down
Now let’s Knock the Boots like the group H-Town
You got BBD all on your bedroom wall
But I’m Above the Rim and this is how I ball
A pretty little something on the New York street
This is how I represent over this here beat
Talking bout you

As an adult, who had to fall to grow again,
You asked me in a mature phase,
I was flattered, to give back to you,
For your special day, and your special time, Continue reading →

One-two, one-two, keep it on
Listen to the s–t because we kick it ’til dawn
Listen to the Abstract, got it going on
Listen to the ladies, come on and let me spawn
On your eggs, then you go up the river
Listen to the abstract, that freaky n—a

[Ad Rock]
Now I’m Ad Rock and I shock and I tick and I tock
And I can’t stop with the body rock

[Mike D]
See, I’ve got heart like John Starks
Hitting mad sparks
Pass me the mic and I’ll be rockin’ the whole park

[MCA]
Well, I’m the M to the C to the A and it’s a must
The rhymes that we bust on the topic of lust

[Q-Tip]
And my Moms is not butt, but f–k it
Let me get down to the rhythm
Yes, I get funky and I’m shooting all my jism
Like John Holmes, the X-rated n—-r
Listen to the s–t cause I am the ill figure
Nobody’s getting any bigger than this

*Get it together*
Get…
Phone is ringing, oh my God
*Get it together, see what’s happening*

Aiyyo yo yo yo you better pass it
Aiyyo check this out
We coming to you live from that BOMB Chocolate City my man
Where the knotty headed n—-z and the Brick City brigade dwell
And if you don’t know your fool better ask
Aiyyo yo you better pass that blunt
And yo E we comin to you live with the Cosmic type stuff

Verse One: Redman

Well it’s that brother coming six billion feet from beneath
And you should be peep-in how I get smoked-out on the weekend
I swing it to my crew or down to my fans
Schoolin hell of stackas like final exams
Cause, it’s the Funkadelic, hit you with the irrelevant
elements, and it’s coming through your block
Can’t you smell it trick?
Wanna copy-cat my whole format
So you get funk tracks, punch lines and skull hats
Hoooo! Got a little Redman in town
Who’s that effin clown soundin wack with the frown??
I don’t know man, but you better wonder what I would do
While loud on this staff like birds one and two
My crew runs thicka than syrup from the burrow
You get hurt up, word up, Jam-med like Pearl
Knock off from blood clot puff on the rough block
Or I peep my man, Rockafella, it don’t stop

Chorus:

On and on, and it don’t quit
Redman rockin on to the funky s–t, c’mon
On and on, and it don’t quit
Redman rockin on to the funky s–t
I said Jersey’s in the house Jersey’s in the house
I said Brooklyn’s in the house Brooklyn’s in the house
I said Uptown’s in the house Uptown’s in the house

Showing love, with the f–king bass in your face
New York City have mercy one time, introducing the crew

[Fashion]
Hey, you ain’t really you and you ain’t really down
Plus I’m tired of seeing you f–king for they face of ground
‘Cause when I sit back and think back of how you found me
It make me react react my f–king yammy
Now I don’t cock, though my mnd is in the sewer
I just kick back six pack and then I do ‘er
But she gets stuck on crowing like a cat
‘Cause the toes got sucked on she don’t know how to act
Back in the days I am 237, used to rumble Kevin
Backing hoes was like heaven
Eleven, years later I tried to hide
And hoped they pass me by like I’m the Pharycyde
Just let me puff and lounge with my n—-s
Don’t have no time to fake funk with triggers
Don’t believe in kids with that puts cat say
F–k around with Fashion get your whole s–t bit
Spend crazy years with the blues pay dues
Before I met the Psycho is in the junk yard juice
But now the crew combined and we can’t be stopped
Going around the globe to collect the props
