“These feelings won’t go away, They’ve been knockin’ me sideways.”
I usually don’t like covers of my favorite songs unless done well, or utilizing the original artist, this does both.

Such an awe inspiring cover of the Coldplay classic 10 years after the original, that I could not wait until Sunday to post.

“Nobody said it was easy
It’s such a shame for us to part
Nobody said it was easy
No one ever said it would be this hard
Oh take me back to the start”

I woke up with the word “zephyr” stuck in my head. Thus this selection from the Red Hot Chili Pepper’s 8th Studio album “By The Way,” from 2002.
Zephyr
–noun
1. a gentle, mild breeze.
2. ( initial capital letter ) Literary . the west wind.
3. any of various things of fine, light quality, as fabric, yarn, etc.
Use zephyr in a Sentence
See images of zephyr
Search zephyr on the Web

——————————————————————————–

Origin:
before 1000 for def. 2; Middle English < Latin zephyrus < Greek zéphyros the west wind; replacing Middle English zeferus, zephirus, Old English zefferus < Latin as above

One of my faves from the 2002 album “A Rush Of Blood To The Head.” Easily, the most complete Coldplay album to date.

Funny that my first choice today was Bjork’s “Hyper-Ballad,” directed by Michel Gondry, who also directed this video. When I switched my thinking to a less obscure artists, my first choice was Lenny Kravitz, “If You Can’t Say No,” but I eventually chose “Believe In Me,” from his album Lenny. I need you to believe in me. I need to believe in you and us too (2012 edit)
