Um yeah…my concept vs. modified stick figure.
Yes, I need more work conceptually. Right now, maybe writings the thing.

The manuscript Blue Lines is the fictional coming of age narrative of a young California woman Key Yemaya Walker, and her 2 year growing journey through school, love, and life period piece, written by Kenneth Suffern, Jr., taking place at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill between the years of 1997 – 1998. Loosely based on true events, and experiences during that time, told through the eyes and voice of the main female protagonist, a freshman first attending the school.

It has been a short while, but here’s the latest:

Sometimes in writing, a pen and paper are far superior than a computer and MS Word, and spell check/grammar check.

Partying like a rock star is cool, but it sucks when it catches up to you.

I don’t understand giving up, although I have moved on.

Bandwagons are corny.

Don’t deride something that you’re paying attention to, it’s the same as hating.

Tropical areas are the best, but it’s better when you get home.

California is still the best state, sorry.

Love is the best/worst four letter word.

Being a fan is cool, being a friend is so much better.

Doing nothing, can give you the greatest feeling. Continue reading →
