Funny that my first choice today was Bjork’s “Hyper-Ballad,” directed by Michel Gondry, who also directed this video. When I switched my thinking to a less obscure artists, my first choice was Lenny Kravitz, “If You Can’t Say No,” but I eventually chose “Believe In Me,” from his album Lenny. I need you to believe in me. I need to believe in you and us too (2012 edit)

Cover Sundays – Antony And The Johnsons – “Crazy In Love”

I am not a Beyonce fan…but the way that Björk collaborator Antony (Hegarty) And The Johnsons covered and turned this into their own song is amazing. Funny note, Björk thought that after listening to his music, that he was a “Black” woman…I’ll be honest, when I heard their collaborations and before I knew who the artist was, so did I…I also thought it was a English singer, not a group based in New York.
