[Intro – Kanye West]
Yeah.
And you say Chi city,
Chi city, Chi city

[Chorus – Chris Martin]
I’m coming home again.
Do you think about me now and then?
Do you think about me now and then?
Cause I’m coming home again
Coming home again.

[Verse 1 – Kanye West]
I met this girl when I was three years old
And what I loved most she had so much soul
She said, excuse me little homie, I know you don’t know me- but,
My name is Wendy and, I like to blow trees and,
From that point I never blow her off,
N—-s come from outta town I like to show her off,
They like to act tough, she like to tell em off,
And make em straighten up there act, cause she know they soft
And when I grew up she showed me how to go downtown
And at nighttime my face lit up so astounding

What I Learned Sundays – Going Back To The Start

Going back to the start…

Haven’t done one of these in some time.

Sometimes you have to look at the things you know, the recurrent themes, both good and bad, make a choice of what you want, and not always wait for things to fall into place the way you expect, or thing they should.

Just a general arching theme, not about a specific event, situation, etc. just a step back moment and look back at the chances, opportunities, “blessings,” and the such. Simply that. And the realization, that no one else can set the path.

And rebuilding your iTunes playlists…sucks, sorry, had to add that.

The manuscript Blue Lines is the fictional coming of age narrative of a young California woman Key Yemaya Walker, and her 2 year growing journey through school, love, and life period piece, written by Kenneth Suffern, Jr., taking place at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill between the years of 1997 – 1998. Such an awe inspiring cover of the Coldplay classic 10 years after the original, that I could not wait until Sunday to post.

“Nobody said it was easy
It’s such a shame for us to part
Nobody said it was easy
No one ever said it would be this hard
Oh take me back to the start”
