My ruminative thoughts,
A life unsought,
They all want to be thought,

I collect these precious moments,
These dreams and equity spent,
A heart, no longer lent, Continue reading →

The sun shone that rainy day,
To a place unwelcomed,
Life brought from another life,
The darkness I knew in you…now light,

A seed planted deep in me,
Slowly grew from what you brought to me,
A fire unstoked, burned with you,
Sought and forced by you, Continue reading →

I did not have a chance to write.

Once it smiled a silent dell
Where the people did not dwell;
They had gone unto the wars,
Trusting to the mild-eyed stars,
Nightly, from their azure towers,
To keep watch above the flowers,
In the midst of which all day
The red sun-light lazily lay.
Now each visitor shall confess
The sad valley’s restlessness.
Nothing there is motionless —
Nothing save the airs that brood
Over the magic solitude. Continue reading →

I like the concept…not the piece…at least not yet.

11/14/15 – 11/17/15

Unguarded and open,
Constant smiles,
Wrapped and attached,
This is Everything I’m Not… Continue reading →

2/21/13

Every breath abated,
Reflecting within your eyes,
Inside our dreams are sated,
Never speaking your name,
They watched as we oblivious.

Lost within a gaze,
My words were shared,
Feigning ignorance,
Like?
Lust?
Love?
Or just now?
Oblivious to the world, they watched, Continue reading →

The ghost of Mandela, hope my flows they propel it
Let these words be your earth and moon you consume every message
As I lead this army make room for mistakes and depression
And with that being said my n—-a, let me ask this question
When s–t hit the fan, is you still a fan?
When s–t hit the fan (one two, one two)
When s–t hit the fan, is you still a fan?
When s–t hit the fan, is you still a fan?
The ghost of Mandela, hope my flows they propel it
Let these words be your earth and moon you consume every message
As I lead this army make room for mistakes and depression
And with that being said my n—-a, let me ask this question
When s–t hit the fan, is you still a fan?
When s–t hit the fan, is you still a fan?
Want you look to your left and right, make sure you ask your friends
When s–t hit the fan, is you still a fan?

Written 12/11/14

I disappeared on a clear day,
No signal left for you,
All move forward, devoid of clues,
No last words to say,
Memories fleeting like the last play,
Nothing to prevent your moving on too,

Migration from a time we all knew,
Time forgotten, life no longer on display,
A decision and change were okay,
But I could not share those thoughts anew,
And now our moments too far and too few,
Our divergence clearly now allayed,

Written 2/17/13

Sonic movement, in the dark recesses of the
Lotion baking in the heat of the tent,
Desert heat giving way to waking,
Alarm clock,
Hidden beer, ice melting within an hour,
Food trucks and Spicy Pie,
Late night walks, and the sounds of debauchery,

Coachella,
Beautiful morning sunrise over vast Mountains,
A tent village of multicolored hues,
Our favorite artists performing,
Cheering while emoting, applause not optional,

Whether the State can loose and bind
In Heaven as well as on Earth:
If it be wiser to kill mankind
Before or after the birth–
These are matters of high concern
Where State-kept schoolmen are;
But Holy State (we have lived to learn)
Endeth in Holy War.
