The manuscript Blue Lines is the fictional coming of age narrative of a young California woman Key Yemaya Walker, and her 2 year growing journey through school, love, and life period piece, written by Kenneth Suffern, Jr., taking place at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill between the years of 1997 – 1998. I am Posdnous
I be the new generation of slaves
here to make papes to buy a record exec rakes
the pile of revenue I create
But I guess I don’t get a cut cuz my rent’s a month late
Product of a North Carolina cat

“Sometimes it Snows in April”

Thursday evening I realized that you couldn’t sing at my wedding, and I didn’t think about whether I could afford it, and it was then, that I realized the finality in the terrible news that you were gone. Prince Rogers Nelson 1958 – 2016, gone way too soon, and well before your time.

I am still not accepting this. Prince was never meant to be this world’s “weekend lover, (he was supposed to) be some kind of friend, it’s such a shame our friendship had to end.” “Times are (definitely) changing,” But I can’t reach for something new.Thursday evening I realized that you couldn’t sing at my wedding, and I didn’t think about whether I could afford it, and it was then, that I realized the finality in the terrible news that you were gone. Lot of people, you know what I’m saying, they be getting misinformed
Thinking everything is everything, that you could just get yourself
A little deal, whatever, youknowhati’msayin you gonna get on you
Gonna get rich. and all these labels be trying to lure us in like
Spiders, into the web, knowhati’msaying. so sometimes people gotta
Come out and speak up, and let people understand, that you know you
Gotta read the label you gotta read the label if you don’t read the
Label you might get poisoned…

[Genius:]
Tommy ain’t my motherf–kin’ Boy
When he fake moves on a n—a you employ
Well I’ll Emerge off ya set, now ya know God damn
I show living large n—az how to flip a Def Jam
And Ruff up the motherf–kin’ House
Cause I smother you Cold Chillin’ mother f–kers are still Warner Brothers

Picked by my NY peeps, TJ.
[Hook: Action Bronson]
Why you always all on my back?
Why you gotta do me like that?
Why you gotta act like a b—h when I’m with you?
Baby girl I’m blue
[Verse 1: Action Bronson]
Because you treat me like s–t
I paid for the bed and never even slept in it
I paid for that crib and never stepped foot in
And now somebody else is eating all the pudding
Things change now my dashboard wooden
All black Benz like a young Doc Gooden
Thug shades cause I’m stone crazy
Girl, we grown, stop playing on my phone, baby
All your childish attempts to make me angry fall short
Which only fuels the rage you have, because you have nothing
Understandable, I’m shining brilliant with 5 Brazilians
There were times I used to hide my feelings
Now I’m butt naked in the Lamborghini
And motherf–kers can’t see me
Wait ’till the chick see me on TV, I make the s–t look easy
Who would’ve thought I hit you right back?
[Hook: Action Bronson]
Why you always all on my back?
Why you gotta do me like that?
Why you gotta act like a b—h when I’m with you?
Baby girl I’m blue
